Find your work and update an item

The Items list is easier to use when it shows the work you need right now. Start with the filters, then open an item before changing its details.

Find an item

  1. Open Items.
  2. Use Search items to look for the title or related wording.
  3. Open Filters to narrow the results by project, status, or priority. Use Assigned to Me for your own assigned work.
  4. Check the list's Open, Completed, and Other views when a result is missing.
  5. Select the item to read its description and history.

The list follows your access. Clearing filters will not reveal a project you do not have permission to view.

Choose the order

Check Show items needing review first to put review work first. Clear it to place those items after other work. Choose Save as default to remember that preference for later visits, and read the confirmation.

Changing the checkbox alone changes the current view. This setting is personal and changes ordering; it does not hide items or grant review access.

Update the work

  1. Open the item and select Edit if your role allows it.
  2. Change the relevant fields, such as description, priority, status, dates, or assignees.
  3. Select Save Changes and check the saved result.

Use In Progress when work begins and Needs Review when it is ready for checking. A project's approval settings can send a completion attempt for review instead of finishing it immediately.

If the project offers upvoting, select an item's upvote control to add your vote; select it again to remove it. A vote records interest, not a promise about when work will happen.

Deleting an item is an organization-admin action. Use it only when the item should be permanently removed, and read the confirmation first.
