Find a project and the right instructions

A project brings together the work for a product or effort. Before adding or changing something, make sure you are in the intended organization and project.

Open the project

  1. Select your organization in the organization switcher.
  2. Open Projects and choose the project name.
  3. Use Items for its combined work list, or Features, Tasks, and Milestones for planned work by type.
  4. Use Overview for the project's summary and Manage for settings available to your role.

Other tabs depend on the project and your access. A project being visible does not mean you can change all of its settings.

Project type describes what the project is for, such as an iOS app, website, or general work. It helps provide the relevant fields; it is not your permission level.

Read or download the Manual

  1. Open Manual.
  2. Find Download manual and read which sections the download will include.
  3. If you want the full reference and Show all sections is available, choose it first.
  4. Choose Word for a document or Markdown for plain text with formatting markers.

The downloaded guide comes from the current in-app Manual. An organization admin can also use Onboarding your team to Start Testing to download role-specific guides for teammates.

A guide explains a workflow; it does not grant its permissions. If a documented control is missing, ask an admin to check your role, project access, and whether the organization has enabled that feature.
