Temporary support access can let support investigate with you without creating a permanent admin account. Only grant it when you intend that person to enter the organization.
These steps are for organization admins.
Create a support PIN
- Open Organization Settings and find Support Access.
- Check whether an active PIN or support session already exists.
- Choose PIN duration.
- Choose Generate PIN, or Generate new PIN if replacing an active one, and read the expiration information.
- Copy the PIN while it is displayed. It is shown once.
- Share it with the trusted support person through the agreed secure channel.
A generated PIN is a credential. Do not put it in a public issue, screenshot, or team-wide message.
End access
Return to Support Access and review the active access. Choose Revoke access when the investigation is finished and you want access to end before expiration. Read the confirmation and check the updated status.
A support PIN is for temporary investigation. Normal teammates and contractors should use the organization's membership process instead, with the role and project access their work requires.
