Connect sources and check imported work

Before running an import, decide which source, history, and direction you want. A manual sync should follow the saved policy you reviewed.

Organization admins manage organization sync policies. Each person manages their own GitHub authorization in Personal Settings.

Connect GitHub

  1. Open Personal Settings, then Integrations.
  2. Choose Connect GitHub and complete GitHub's authorization.
  3. Review GitHub sources and select the accounts or organizations you intend to use.
  4. Choose the destination Start Testing organization and select Save GitHub settings.

An admin can then open Organization Settings, then Integrations, to choose issue, comment, and pull-request sync directions, history, and timing. Review the choices before saving or using Run org sync.

Connect App Store Connect

In Organization Settings, open Integrations and Configure App Store Connect. Provide the Issuer ID, Key ID, and Private Key from the same authorized Apple API key. Review What to import, Automatic sync, and Import history, then choose Connect.

For an existing connection, save the intended sync policy before choosing Sync now. Read the completion summary, including any skipped or failed apps.

If expected work is missing

Check the selected organization, provider connection, repository or app access, and history policy. Look in the relevant project and clear unrelated filters. If the provider reports a rate limit, follow that error before retrying.

Use Update credentials when replacing an Apple key, or the connection's disconnect action when access should end. Disconnecting does not remove already imported work. Keep credentials out of reports and support messages.
